AMPCO AmeriVent® Type-B Vent- Oval

Pipe Section

The Ameri-Vent Oval Pipe section may be used for the following types of installation: 4" Oval - conventional Type B, Type B-2X4 when used with firestop and Type BW; 5" Oval - Type B and Type B-2X4; and 6" Oval - Type B.

Adjustable Length

Adjustable Lengths telescope onto standard pipe sections to permit adjustments from 3" to 10".

45° Elbow - Standard

45° Elbow / Standard are used in pairs where offsets are desired in 1" minimum clearance enclosures or open spaces such as attics or basements. Pipe sections maybe added between pairs to produce additional offset.

45° Elbow - Flat

45° Elbow / Flat are used where offsets are desired in 1" minimum clearance enclosures or open spaces such as attics or basements. Pipe sections maybe added between pairs to produce additional offset.

Tee

Tee branch size and Tee trunk size are the same diameter. Tee branch accepts either double or single wall pipe.

Reducing Tee

Reducing Tee branch size is one inch smaller than Reducing Tee trunk size.

Sizes 4" Tee with a 3" Branch

Tee Support

The Tee Support is used to support and center the Tee. It is to be used with the Tee Cap.

Sizes 4" through 6"

Tee Cap

The Tee Cap is used for closing off the bottom of the Tee. It is to be used with to Tee Support.

Adaptors - Round to Oval

Round to Oval Adaptors are used for conversion of vent from round to oval.

Available in the following:

Sizes 4" though 6"

Adaptor - Oval to Round

Oval to Round Adaptors are used for conversion of vent from oval to round.

Available in the following:

Sizes 4" though 6"

Increaser

Increasers permit increasing of vents from 4" oval to 5" oval.

Available in the following:

Sizes 4" - 5"

Tee Collar

The Tee Collar may be used to cover the rough wall opening and the exposed double-wall branch of the Tee. The 3-4 OTVC collar features a knockout for a 3" or 4" single-wall connector.

Storm Collar

The Storm Collar serves as a counter flashing and requires mastic to seal to the vent pipe.

All Pitch Flashing

Standard Oval Pitch Flashings install either parallel or perpendicular to the roof ridge and fit roof pitches ranging from flat to 5/12.

Firestop Spacer

Firestop Spacers serve as firestops at the ceiling level and centers the vent in 16" O.C. stud spaces. It is a required component for Type B- 2X4 and multi-story Type BW installations.

Type BW Hold Down Plate

Type BW Hold Down Plates are required for connecting Type BW vents to wall furnace outlets.

Type BW Plate Spacers

Type BW Plate Spacers are required at first ceiling level above a wall furnace to center and space vent properly and to provide required opening between floors. Firestop spacers must be used at subsequent levels.

Type BW Attic Shield
	Type BW Attic Shields are to be used on single-story or on top story of multi-story buildings for Type BW Gas Vent. Los Angeles Code and UMC requires a 26 gauge galvanized sleeve to extend from the top of the ceiling plate into the attic.	Required by Los Angeles Code and UMC
