AMPCO Grease Duct Systems

AMPCO sets the pace in commercial and industrial grease duct systems with a choice of four different systems depending upon specific project needs. Our grease duct is designed for fast food restaurants, kitchens, grocery stores, or any other commercial cooking operation. It "contains" grease fires with components that expand or contract without joints separating- even up to 2000°F. The grease vent is available in 6" to 48" diameters in a choice of lengths and configurations to avoid expensive jobsite welding or external wrapping.

Model VSI-I Grease Vent
These models offer single-wall piping with grease duct protection up to 500° F with only 1/2" required for clearance to non-combustibles or 18" of clearance to combustibles. A complete line of pipe sections, fittings, and accessories in 6" to 48" diameters offer greater economy over field-welded chimney installations. All Model VSI-I products are lightweight, yet feature stainless steel construction for extra strength and corrosion resistance.

Model VSI-II Grease Vent
Model VSI-II offers the added security of double-wall piping with grease duct protection up to 500° F continuous and 2000° F intermittent with only 1/2" required for clearance to non-combustibles or from 7" for 6" duct up to 17" for 48" duct required for clearance to combustibles. A complete line of pipe sections, fittings, and accessories in 6" to 48" diameters offer greater economy over field-welded chimney installations. All Model VSI-II products are lightweight, yet feature stainless steel inner duct construction with aluminized steel outer walls for extra strength and corrosion resistance.

Model IVSI Grease Vent
Model IVSI is a ceramic-insulated, sealed exhaust duct system with grease duct protection up to 500° F continuous and 2000° F intermittent with only 1/2" required for clearance to non-combustibles or from 3" for 6" duct with 1" of insulation up to 9" for 48" duct with 4" of insulation required for clearance to combustibles. It features double-wall construction with stainless steel inner walls and aluminized steel outer walls. IVSI Grease Vent is available with 1", 2", or 4" insulated components for the lowest possible clearances to combustibles.

Model IVSI-4ZC Grease Vent
Model IVSI-4ZC is the ultimate grease duct protection system offering 0" clearance to combustibles. It can't get any better than this! This space-saving ceramic-insulated sealed system allows for internal temperatures of up to 500° F continuous and 2000° F intermittent with no further external wrapping required. IVSI-4ZC features double-wall construction with stainless steel inner walls, 4" of ceramic insulation, and aluminized steel outer walls in sizes from 6" all the way up to 36" in diameter. UL 2221 Classified. Accepted by NFPA 96, and New York City Approved- MEA #53-07-E.

Service Oriented Staff
AMPCO can furnish assistance in system design or sizing, take-offs from plans and specs, detailed project quotes, and erection drawings with printed installation instructions for AMPCO projects. To assure the proper fit and components for a project, AMPCO has proprietary 3-D modeling software which can provide a full scale mock-up of a complete system.
